MPM's last minute decision to attend the YP awards dinner paid off after they successfully collected 3 awards in total throughout the night much to the delight and modesty of the whole MPM team.
On the back of our recent successful apprenticeship we are recruiting 2 more apprentices who will be starting at MPM this month. We will keep you informed of their progress and are sure that the experience that Josh has had at MPM will ensure that both our new recruits will be just as successful in helping MPM to retain their high standards of production quality and customer service.
With our recent success at the YP awards still fresh in our minds, we would like to thank Paul Williams our internal manufacturing advisor, for all his hard work and patience in order to get us to this level of achievement which seemed almost impossible at the start.
With only a week to go until the Goodwood festival of speed, a new client, KBI UK Ltd, approached us to make 450 reinforcement boards for the public walkways.
As part of a large group of companies they were suddenly faced with a new design and needed the new boards urgently to ensure they met the festival deadline.
MPM received the order on Wednesday and were asked to deliver by Monday - we did better than that, delivering by Saturday lunchtime.
"I am really grateful to the MPM team for delivering a quality product in such a quick time, they were truly awesome. We will certainly be ordering again - fantastic"
- John Maguire
Here at MPM we have invested in Solidworks software in order to improve our design and innovation capability and extend these benefits to our clients.
The software is used by all the British based F1 teams, so if it is good enough for them, it is good enough for us!
Here at MPM we are starting the new year with a re-structured team that is already improving quality and delivery to our clients.
We would like to take this opportunity as the end of another year approaches, to thank all our clients and suppliers for what has been an excellent year's trading.
We appreciate our clients invaluable feedback and continued business, whilst the fantastic service we receive from our suppliers means that MPM can concentrate on improving and growing the business.
All our NVQ students who took part in the ‘Improving Business Performance' course passed their particular levels, despite some initial cynicism. The team are finding that the course was more practical than they thought with some really useful tips for improving their role in the business.
MPM are starting to see the benefits of their hard work on the NVQ programme- Improving Business Performance.
This NVQ is a work-based competency qualification, where the main objective of the award is to improve business performance by enabling companies and organisations to reduce their waste/costs, improve their productivity and ultimately increase their competitiveness.
Shut down: 01st August - 5th August inclusive
This is a reminder to all our valued clients and suppliers that our last day for business will be on the 29th July for one full working week - re-opening for business on Monday 08th August.
We trust that you will all be able to plan your supplies and orders around this week. If you can foresee any issues surrounding this please do not hesitate to give us a call as soon as possible, and we will endeavour to do whatever we can to help.
Jake Thornton and Joshua Pickersgill were selected from 10 applicants to join the MPM team. This is the first time for some years that MPM have decided to train up young local school leavers to help grow their team, providing a firm base for MPM as they continue to grow.
