It has been fantastic to support the UTC and the next generation, by offering work experience placements to 3 pupils. The placement helped them gain a valuable insight into the world of work and manufacturing.
After the massive effort from all the team to get back to full production following the fire, we decided to take stock and celebrate.

Only four months after the devastating fire, MPM continues the fantastic recovery by achieving their second most productive month in their 40 year history.
MPM is excited to announce that the results of their independent employee engagement survey are in. The results show that they have a highly engaged team, with 89% of those surveyed being actively engaged compared to the UK average of 59% across all industries.
You can see how we are progressing and the enthusiasm the team have in getting back to ‘business as normal’. Their attendance has been at an average of 98% and our new STRONGER TOGETHER mantra is at the core of how we have made such fantastic progress.

As regional winners of the 2017 EEF Future Manufacturing ‘Developing People’ and ‘Business Growth’ awards, MPM were proud to represent the region at the corresponding National awards hosted in London.
In the early hours of this morning a large fire has devastated the MPM buildings.
We are currently working hard to put in a plan of action that will get us back up and running as soon as possible. The cause is as yet unknown.
