Having suffered a major setback with the fire 2 weeks ago, MPM have made a fantastic start in getting back into production.
A phone line is back up and running, however at the moment this is only one line, so if there are any urgent requests, Ben’s mobile is still the best way to contact the team. Some new premises have been located and preparations are under way to get this up and running to full production as soon as possible.
“We are doing everything we can to ensure that we retain all the MPM team and that our customers are inconvenienced as little as possible. We are making progress every day and putting plans to action throughout the team to ensure that as soon as possible we are back to the service standards our customers expect and are ready to face all challenges. With a new building already located, and machinery ready to install, we are optimistic that we will be back to full production during March/April.
Times are certainly tough here, however, the team are stepping up to the challenge and we are all determined that this new start at the beginning of our 40th year in business, will be a great start to a new future.”
We would like to say a special thank you to Hopkins Catering for setting us up with a central base and WIFI connection. Richard Wilkinsons, Patterns & Moulds and Trojan Plastics who have allowed us to piggy back on some of their manufacturing space to keep some pattern work, production of new moulds and production of parts going whilst we sort out our new premises. It is amazing to have such supportive companies around us at this difficult time. A special thanks to Affinity IT for the speedy response and getting us all backed up and back on-line in double quick time.
